Jackson Hole
The terrain of Jackson Hole's two mountains is unsurpassed. Narrow chutes, bowls, and tree runs are hallmarks of Rendezvous Mountain. Corbet's Couloir is the most famous of the hair-raising terrain. Ski off the tram and drop 4,139 feet to the base, the largest drop in the U.S. Apres Vous Mountain features wide, groomed runs, open bowls, and gentle slopes at the bottom. At the base, Teton Village is now luxury-filled. The town of Jackson, 12 miles away, has a Western feel with endless eateries and no shortage of watering holes.
